May 21, 2020 Newsletter – Protein Webinar, SeqBuilder Pro Recording, and BIO Digital Information
Welcome to this month’s newsletter! Featured below is information on our protein webinar next week and our SeqBuilder Pro webinar from last week. With social distancing still in place around the world, we are preparing to “virtually” attend BIO Digital in June. We’d also like to know, how are you adjusting your work and research during this time?
Upcoming Protein Webinar
Curious about how our Lasergene Protein software can be applied to your research? Want to learn more about how our protein tools are being used to study and model the novel coronavirus? Join us next week on Wednesday, May 27 for our webinar exploring the functions in Lasergene Protein, presented by DNASTAR’s Protein Products Specialist Thomas Leary. In this one-hour webinar beginning at 11:00 CDT, we’ll cover topics including protein structure prediction and analysis, antibody modeling, and mutagenesis and design. We’ll also show you how to apply these tools to your own data through a live demonstration. As always, a Q&A session will be included at the end, so make sure to bring any questions you have.
SeqBuilder Pro Webinar Recording
Last Thursday, DNASTAR presented our most-attended webinar in our history. If you happened to miss the live webinar, or want to watch some or all of it again, you can now view the recording to learn how to master our foundation application. We’d also like to take a moment to thank all of those who attended and asked nearly 90 questions. You will be able to find a full list of the questions and answers posted on our blog within the next week.
DNASTAR at BIO Digital 2020
Due to COVID-19, the BIO International Convention has now been converted to a digital format, renamed to BIO Digital. DNASTAR plans to attend the digital format of this conference and looks forward to meeting with anyone who is interested. To set up a one-on-one meeting during this conference, or to learn more about our software demos, please visit our website.
Using Lasergene From Home? Still working in the lab? Send us your pictures!
Science doesn’t stop during a pandemic. Whether your team is working at home or in the lab, heading back into the office, or some combination of these, we’d love to know how you’ve been moving your research forward during these past few months. Share your pictures of working during the pandemic with us by tagging DNASTAR on Facebook or Twitter, and using the hashtags #ScienceDoesntStop and #LasergeneFromHome. Or you can send your pictures to [email protected] and we will share them. For inspiration, check out our own pictures on Facebook and Twitter.
From all of us at DNASTAR, we hope you are staying safe and healthy during this uncertain time. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you or your team need support with your software.
